Let’s look at the recent popular games and find out how the ranks dinamics change in Google Play these days.
There are two main stories coming out. The first is Fortnite from Epic Games inching closer to No. 1 for global App Store gaming revenue by ranking at No. 5 worldwide.
In doing so, it became the first mobile title developed outside of Asia to reach the platform’s top five for game revenue since May 2017. At that time, it was Supercell’s Clash Royale that occupied the No. 5 spot.
Puzzle & Dragons
You probably heard of GungHo Online Entertainment’s Puzzle & Dragons. It grew to the combined game revenue top 10 at No. 6 overall.
It has spent all but one of the past 13 months ranked outside of the top 10, and last month is the only time during that period that it has ranked above No. 10 on the chart. It’s also the highest the game has ranked since August 2016, when it was the fourth highest grossing mobile game overall.
